RKGIT Ghaziabad: My Honest Review on Placements, Faculty & Campus Life

Likes

  • Good exposure to Delhi culture
  • Low hostel fees
  • Decent placements for CS/IT
  • Entrepreneurship promotion

Dislikes

  • Poor infrastructure
  • Inconsistent faculty quality
  • Limited placement opportunities for core branches
  • Lack of company tie-ups for ME/EE
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

The college has tie-ups with companies like Cocubes, Amcat, Nicco Venture, and Talent Grid for internships. However, the quality of internships varies. CS/IT students have better chances compared to core branches. It's essential to network and apply on your own as well.

Course Information :

B.Tech Computer Science at RKGIT is decent. The curriculum is updated, and you get exposure to the latest technologies. However, the course is heavily dependent on your self-study and personal projects. If you are proactive, you can make the most of it.

Fee Structure :

The fees for B.Tech programs are pretty standard compared to other UPTU-affiliated colleges. Expect around ₹78,306 per year. Hostel fees are relatively lower, which is a plus. Overall, it's manageable if you're on a budget.

Faculty :

Faculty is a mixed bag. Some teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful, but the college struggles to retain good talent. Many faculty members seem good on paper but don't deliver effectively in the classroom. It's a hit or miss.

Campus Details :

The infrastructure is pretty basic. It's like a matchbox, as someone said. The college doesn't utilize its land well. However, being in NCR gives you exposure to Delhi culture and a diverse mix of people, which helps in personality development.
