College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are scarce, especially for core branches like Mechanical. IT companies don't even allow us to sit for placements. The training and placement cell needs to seriously step up their game. It's a major drawback.
Course Information :
I'm in Mechanical Engineering, and honestly, the course is a mixed bag. The syllabus is updated, but it doesn't really prepare you for the job market. You'll need to put in extra effort to gain practical skills. It's decent, but could be way better for future engineers.
Fee Structure :
The fees for Mechanical Engineering are around ₹60,000 per year, plus another ₹20,000 for hostel. Honestly, I'm not sure it's worth it. You get a degree, but the skills might be lacking. Think hard before investing your money here.
Faculty :
Some of the professors are really knowledgeable and experienced, but there's a gap when it comes to practical, technical skills. They need to focus more on real-world applications to make us industry-ready. It's a bit theoretical, to be honest.
Campus Details :
The campus is pretty big, like 80 acres, and close to the railway station. It feels safe, which is good. But there aren't many extra-curricular activities or coaching classes around, since it's in a smaller town. Could use more happening stuff.
