College Internship Opportunities :
The placement cell primarily focuses on commerce-related jobs, which isn't ideal for science students like me. They need to bring in more opportunities relevant to the science field to cater to a broader range of students. More science-related internships would be a game-changer.
Course Information :
I'm enrolled in the B.Sc. Life Science program, and it's a mixed bag. The course content is relevant, but sometimes the teaching feels rushed. I wish there was more focus on practical applications and real-world examples to make the learning more engaging. Overall, it's decent, but there's room for improvement.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure at Khalsa College is reasonable. I paid around ₹21,000 in the first year, which increased to ₹28,000 in the second year. Considering the resources and faculty, it's a fair price. However, clarity on fee components would be helpful.
Faculty :
Some teachers are excellent and truly dedicated, while others seem less invested. The permanent faculty members are definitely better than the visiting ones. More experienced professors in the chemistry department would greatly benefit B.Sc. students.
Campus Details :
The campus life is vibrant and lively! The 'Jannat' area is a major highlight, especially during winters with the coffee service. It would be great if they could offer refreshing drinks during the hot summer months too. Overall, the campus provides a great environment for students.
