SRMCEM Lucknow: Not the college experience I hoped for

Likes

  • Decent infrastructure
  • Some knowledgeable faculty
  • Good academic focus

Dislikes

  • Limited placement opportunities
  • Dull campus life
  • Feels like a school
  • Lack of industry exposure
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are limited, and the college doesn't actively help students secure good internships. Most students have to rely on their own efforts to find internships, which can be quite challenging. More support from the college would be beneficial.

Course Information :

The B.Tech Computer Science Engineering program at SRMCEM has a good curriculum, but the practical application and industry exposure could be better. While the academics are decent, students looking for a more hands-on approach might find it lacking.

Fee Structure :

The fee structure for B.Tech CSE at SRMCEM is around ₹1.17 Lakh per year. While this is comparable to other colleges in Lucknow, students feel the return on investment isn't great due to limited placement opportunities. Some feel it's not worth the cost.

Faculty :

Some faculty members are really dedicated and knowledgeable, but overall, the teaching quality is inconsistent. Some teachers are great at explaining concepts, while others struggle to connect with students. More experienced professors would definitely improve the learning environment.

Campus Details :

The infrastructure is decent with okay labs and classrooms, but the campus life is pretty dull. It feels more like a school than a college. There's not much happening in terms of extracurricular activities or events, which is a major letdown for many students.
