College Internship Opportunities :
While I didn't personally participate in any internships during my course, I know that the college does provide some internship opportunities. It's best to check with the placement cell or your department for the latest information and available programs. Networking with seniors can also help!
Course Information :
I opted for B.Sc Biotechnology (Self Financed) at SIES, and it's a decent course. The curriculum is updated, covering all essential topics for future entrance exams and interviews. The faculty ensures we're well-prepared and are quick to address any questions. Overall, a good choice for biotech aspirants!
Fee Structure :
The fee for my self-financed course was around ₹35-40K, which is typical for such programs. While it's a bit more expensive, the facilities and faculty justify the cost. Make sure to check the latest fee structure on the college website or during admissions, as it can vary.
Faculty :
The faculty at SIES College is genuinely dedicated. They push us to excel and are always ready to help with our doubts. The teachers are knowledgeable and make the learning experience engaging. They focus on practical applications, which is super helpful for understanding the subjects better.
Campus Details :
The campus isn't huge, but it's well-maintained and clean. There are opportunities to join NCC and NSS, which is great for extracurriculars. The college is located in a safe area, close to the railway and bus stations, making commuting easy. Just be aware that during monsoon, the area can get a bit waterlogged.
