Dislikes

  • Poor sports facilities
  • High fees for online classes
  • Campus cleanliness issues
  • Low internship stipend
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are available, but the stipend is pretty low compared to other dental colleges in the state. It's barely enough to cover expenses. The college could do a better job of educating students about post-UG placement options.

Course Information :

I'm pursuing BDS at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, and the course is pretty demanding but rewarding. The curriculum could use some updating to keep pace with current dental practices. Overall, it's a solid foundation for a career in dentistry, but be prepared for a challenging workload.

Fee Structure :

The BDS program costs around 7 lakhs per year, which feels quite steep considering a lot of classes were online. It's a significant investment, and you need to factor in the cost of books and instruments too. Honestly, it feels a bit overpriced for the experience.

Faculty :

The teachers at the Institute of Dental Sciences are knowledgeable, but they could definitely work on their interactive skills. Sometimes it feels like they're just lecturing at us instead of engaging us in discussions. More practical, hands-on teaching would be a huge improvement.

Campus Details :

The campus isn't huge, but it's decent enough. Classrooms are spacious, and the labs are okay. The library is workable but could be better. Sports facilities are definitely lacking – they need more equipment and better upkeep. Cleanliness is an issue that needs attention.
