College Internship Opportunities :
SLIET provides decent internship opportunities, especially in core branches. The college actively works to bring in companies for internships. While not every student might get a top-tier internship, the exposure and experience gained are valuable. The training and placement department is always pushing to improve the internship scenario.
Course Information :
The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at SLIET is pretty solid. From what I've seen, almost everyone in CSE lands a job, which is a big plus. The curriculum could use a little tweaking to keep up with the latest tech, but overall, it sets you up well for the industry. It's a good choice if you're looking for decent job prospects right after graduation.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure at SLIET is quite reasonable. I paid around ₹30.5k per semester, which includes hostel fees. The mess charges are approximately ₹2.5k per month. Considering the facilities and the overall environment, it's definitely value for money. It's one of the most affordable engineering colleges around.
Faculty :
Some teachers are really good and know their stuff, but a few could improve their teaching skills. They're all well-qualified, but teaching isn't everyone's strong suit. Overall, the faculty is supportive, and you can always find someone to help you out if you're struggling.
Campus Details :
The campus is clean and green, which is a big plus. It's a great place to chill and study. The library is huge and has books on pretty much everything. Plus, there are good sports facilities and separate hostels for boys and girls. The campus is ragging-free, so it's a safe environment.
