College Internship Opportunities :
I didn't really see many internship opportunities during my time at Sri Aurobindo College. It felt like there wasn't much focus on connecting students with real-world experiences. Improving internship programs would definitely boost the college's appeal and help students gain practical skills.
Course Information :
Hindi Hons at Sri Aurobindo College has its ups and downs. The teachers are dedicated and punctual, which is a big plus. However, the course could benefit from incorporating more modern teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience. Overall, it's a decent option if you're passionate about Hindi literature.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure is quite reasonable, with around ₹6,000 per year and an additional ₹500-₹600 per semester. It's definitely on the affordable side, making it accessible for students from various financial backgrounds. However, considering the facilities and infrastructure, some might feel it's just an okay value for the money.
Faculty :
The faculty in the Hindi department are really good. They're punctual and dedicated to teaching. Although they mostly stick to traditional methods, their commitment to helping students is evident. Science students seem to get more attention and resources, which is a bit unfair, but overall, the Hindi teachers are supportive.
Campus Details :
The college location is a major advantage, being close to Malviya Nagar Market and Hauz Khas in South Delhi. However, the infrastructure needs serious improvement. Classrooms are not well-maintained. The library is a good spot with AC, but the college building overall requires better upkeep. Campus life can be turbulent, especially during and after elections, with frequent student clashes.
