College Internship Opportunities :
While the college placements aren't great overall, the Mass Media department does a good job of providing internship opportunities. The faculty has good connections and helps us find relevant internships in the industry. This hands-on experience is invaluable.
Course Information :
BA Multimedia and Mass Communication at St. Andrew's is pretty decent. The course gives you a good mix of theory and practical stuff. You get to learn about journalism, advertising, and filmmaking. The faculty is quite experienced, and they bring in industry experts for guest lectures, which is a big plus.
Fee Structure :
The fees for self-financed courses like BA Multimedia and Mass Communication can be a bit on the higher side, around ₹60,000-₹80,000 per year. What I didn't like were the extra charges for things that weren't really useful. They need to be more transparent about where that money is going.
Faculty :
The Mass Media department faculty is top-notch. The HOD is super experienced, and the teachers have real-world industry experience. They focus on giving us practical exposure and help us get internships. They really care about our growth and are always there to guide us.
Campus Details :
The campus is okay, nothing too fancy. The gym and sports room are where most students hang out. The library is decent for studying. But honestly, the lack of Wi-Fi and lifts can be a pain. It's tough to climb stairs to the higher floors, especially with books.
