College Internship Opportunities :
The college does try to help with placements by offering CRT courses, which are mandatory. But, I feel like there could be more focus on getting us internships. More real-world experience would definitely boost our job prospects after graduation.
Course Information :
I'm currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering here, and honestly, it's a mixed bag. The curriculum is decent, but I wish there was more focus on practical applications. The college does try to encourage project-based learning, which is a plus, especially with competitions like SAE BAHA. However, the college could definitely improve the resources and funding for such projects.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure is around ₹80,000 per year now that we're autonomous. I get a fee reimbursement, so I only pay about ₹25,000 plus another ₹10,000 to JNTU. Honestly, for the price, I'm not sure it's totally worth it. More practical knowledge and better guidance would make it a better value.
Faculty :
The faculty is pretty good at teaching the subjects, and they use seminars and videos to help us understand. They're usually available for doubts, and the HODs are accessible too. But, I feel like there could be more industry exposure and practical guidance to really help us get job-ready.
Campus Details :
The campus is pretty decent, with painted buildings and updated labs. It's cool that we're the only campus without any sub-campuses like Malla Reddy. The sports facilities are great, especially for football. The canteen is spacious, and there are lots of trees around. Plus, they built a new girls' hostel, which is a big win for the hostellers.
