College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities for Mechanical Engineering students are scarce. The college doesn't seem to put in much effort to bring companies for mechanical internships, leaving students to fend for themselves. This lack of support is a major drawback.
Course Information :
The Mechanical Engineering course at TCET might not be the best choice. The teaching quality needs improvement, and there's a lack of interaction between teachers and students. Students often feel burdened and hesitate to ask questions, which impacts their learning experience.
Fee Structure :
I don't think the fees for Mechanical Engineering are justified, considering the quality of education and placement opportunities. For other courses like Computer Engineering, the fees might be worth it due to better resources and placements, but not for Mechanical.
Faculty :
The faculty in the Mechanical Engineering department aren't very helpful. They don't provide adequate support to students, and there's a noticeable lack of engagement. It feels like they're not invested in our academic success, which is quite disheartening.
Campus Details :
TCET has a decent infrastructure with well-maintained labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and Wi-Fi. The lifts are functional, creating a comfortable environment for students. However, the positive aspects of the infrastructure are overshadowed by the academic shortcomings.
