College Internship Opportunities :

Thapar has a decent network, so getting internships isn't too difficult. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Rubrik come for recruitment. If you have good grades and some projects under your belt, you have a good chance of landing an internship.

Course Information :

I'm doing my BE in Computer Engineering here, and honestly, the course is pretty solid. They keep updating the curriculum to match what's happening in the industry, which is a big plus. You get a good mix of theory and practical stuff, so you're not just mugging up books.

Fee Structure :

Okay, so the fees for BE Computer Engineering is around ₹4 Lakhs per year. It's a bit on the higher side, but considering the facilities and the placement opportunities, it feels somewhat justified. Plus, they do offer some scholarships if you meet certain criteria.

Faculty :

Some of the professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, especially in the Computer Science department. They're always ready to clear your doubts and guide you. But yeah, like any other college, there are a few who are just there to complete the syllabus.

Campus Details :

The campus is pretty decent, especially after the recent upgrades. The new computer science block is awesome, and the library is huge! Food in the mess is okay-ish, nothing great, but you can survive. Sports facilities are good too, with options for almost every sport.
