College Internship Opportunities :
TIST provides good internship opportunities, especially if you're in CSE. The placement cell works hard to get companies to visit the campus for internships. I got a chance to intern at a startup during my third year, and it was a great learning experience. They also conduct workshops to help you prepare for interviews.
Course Information :
The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course at TIST is pretty solid. The curriculum is up-to-date, and they focus on practical skills, which is super helpful. Labs are well-equipped, and the faculty makes sure you're ready for the industry. Definitely a good choice if you're into coding!
Fee Structure :
From what I know, the fee structure for B.Tech CSE is around ₹1.2 Lakh per year. It's pretty standard for a private engineering college in Kerala. They do offer some scholarships based on merit and financial need, so make sure to check those out. Overall, it's a decent investment considering the placement opportunities.
Faculty :
The faculty in the CSE department are really supportive and knowledgeable. They're always ready to help you out, whether it's with coursework or project ideas. Most of them have industry experience, so they bring a practical perspective to the classroom. They make learning fun and engaging!
Campus Details :
TIST has a decent campus with all the basic amenities. The library is well-stocked, and there are plenty of spaces to chill and study. The college also organizes a lot of events and fests, so there's always something happening. The canteen food is okay, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done.
