College Internship Opportunities :
UIET Kurukshetra does offer some decent internship opportunities. Companies like Amazon and TCS come for recruitment, which is a big plus. The college also has tie-ups with local industries, so you can get some hands-on experience. It's all about grabbing the opportunities when they come your way!
Course Information :
I'm in B.Tech ECE here, and honestly, the course is a mixed bag. Some teachers are gold, while others... not so much. You really need to be ready to self-study to score well. The curriculum is decent, but could use some updating to keep up with the industry trends. Overall, it's manageable if you put in the effort.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure at UIET Kurukshetra is pretty reasonable, especially considering it's a government college. For B.Tech courses, you're looking at around ₹60,000-₹70,000 per year, which is quite affordable compared to private colleges. Hostel fees are separate and add another ₹30,000-₹40,000 annually. Definitely value for money!
Faculty :
Faculty-wise, UIET Kurukshetra has its ups and downs. Some professors are super knowledgeable and helpful, really going the extra mile. But, yeah, some lecturers lack experience, especially in the labs. So, you might have to rely on your own research and peer learning. It's a mixed bag, but there are definitely some gems among the faculty.
Campus Details :
The campus is okay, nothing too fancy. The labs could use some serious upgrades – the equipment is pretty outdated. Hostels are clean enough, but the food is a major letdown. Campus life is kinda boring, not gonna lie. But hey, the departments are well-maintained, and there's enough space to chill with friends. Could be better, but it's manageable.
