College Internship Opportunities :
VIIT does a decent job with internships. You'll get opportunities to apply, and the college provides some support. However, landing a top-tier internship requires a lot of personal effort and networking. The college provides a basic platform, but you need to build the ladder.
Course Information :
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) program at VIIT has its ups and downs. While the curriculum covers the essentials, staying updated with the latest industry trends requires extra effort. It's a decent foundation, but self-learning is key to truly excelling in this field.
Fee Structure :
The fees for my course, including bus and CRT, came to around ₹1.45 lakh per year. Honestly, after the college became autonomous, it feels a bit steep for the facilities provided. If you can snag a scholarship, it's a much better deal. Be prepared to shell out extra for workshops, though.
Faculty :
Okay, so the faculty isn't the absolute best, but they're dedicated. They might not be experts in everything, but they work hard to get through the syllabus and stick to the management's schedule. You'll need to take charge of your own learning, but they're there to guide you.
Campus Details :
The infrastructure is pretty solid. You'll always find a cool breeze, which is a plus! The library is huge, and there are plenty of grounds for different sports. Labs have enough space for everyone. They even have separate blocks for freshers to avoid any ragging issues.
