College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are somewhat limited, especially in the forensic field. Most placements are in non-forensic roles. The college does try to support the placement process, but it can be challenging, especially in group discussions.
Course Information :
I'm pursuing B.Sc. Forensic Science here, and it's pretty interesting if you're into detective work. The curriculum is updated, but honestly, job prospects directly after the degree are limited. You'll likely need to pursue higher studies to really get into the field.
Fee Structure :
The annual fee for my course is around ₹40,000, but it can be less depending on your 12th standard marks-based scholarship. Considering the course content and exposure, I feel it's a decent value for money.
Faculty :
The faculty interaction is definitely a highlight at VGU. They're supportive and approachable. Teaching quality is moderate, and they use smart boards and projectors in classrooms, which is helpful.
Campus Details :
The campus is huge, which is great, but the drinking water situation could be better. Living spaces are just average, and the food isn't always the most hygienic. But there are sports centers and labs available, which is a plus.
