College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are limited, and you'll have to work hard to secure one. The college doesn't actively bring in many companies for internships, so you'll need to rely on your own network and online platforms. But if you are persistent, you will find something.
Course Information :
The BE Computer Science and Engineering course at Vivekananda Institute of Technology is decent academically. The curriculum is up-to-date, but the strict attendance policy can be a real drag. If you're looking for a relaxed engineering life, this might not be the best choice. However, the course content itself is relevant and prepares you for the industry.
Fee Structure :
I heard the fee structure for BE Computer Science and Engineering is around ₹1.5 Lakh per year. It's pretty standard for a Bangalore college, but you might want to check for scholarships to ease the burden. Some of my friends felt it was a bit much considering the placement scenario.
Faculty :
Some faculty members are really knowledgeable and helpful, but others are just okay. It really depends on the department and the specific professor. Overall, the faculty is approachable, but don't expect them to spoon-feed you. You need to put in the effort yourself.
Campus Details :
The campus is pretty basic. It's not the most happening place, and campus life is definitely lacking. The college fest, VIBHIN, is organized in a simple way, so don't expect a grand event. If you're looking for a vibrant campus life, you might be disappointed.
