The Candidate should 55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with 50% or more marks in compulsory language, i.e., English. Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry who scored 60% or more marks in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be given an advantage of 3% over and above their Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry aggregate.
