Gujarat University (GU) was established in 1949. The university is located in the state of Gujarat. It is a government-owned co-ed university. Gujarat University Ahmedabad has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited by NAAC. The total student population of the university is more than 3000 and the total number of faculty members is more than 100. In NIRF 2021 Ranking, Gujarat University has been ranked 62nd in the overall category.
