IIITDM, Kurnool was established in the year 2015, after receiving approval from the President of India following the publication in the Gazette of India. The IIITDM, Kurnool launched its academic programs by seeking help from its mentor institute, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. The institute is entirely funded by the Ministry of Education under the Government of India. The institute currently offers three programs namely Bachelors of Technology, Masters of Technology and PhD in disciplines like Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. IIITDM Kurnool is accredited by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). The institute offers 3 UG courses, 2 PG courses and 5 PhD courses.IIITDM, Kurnool is situated alongside the Rayalaseema Express Highway (NH 40) and 20 km away from Kurnool airport. The IIITDM, Kurnool campus is located from Pulla Reddy Engineering College to IIITDM at a distance of 3kms the boy’s hostel is currently being constructed, and the girl’s hostel is at a distance of 3km and 8kms respectively from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, campus.

"IIITDM Kurnool: Good Faculty, Hostel Far, Placements Could Be Better"

Overall Rating: 6/10

The campus is still developing, but it has the basics covered. The library is a bit small, but they're working on expanding it. The hostel is decent, but it's a bit far from the college, which can be a hassle.

IIITDM Kurnool is currently transitioning to its new campus. For now, students get to use the facilities at IIITDM Kancheepuram, which are pretty good. The new campus in Kurnool is expected to be ready soon, which is exciting. It's a developing campus, but the facilities are adequate for now.

IIITDM Kurnool is currently operating from IIIT Kancheepuram as its mentor institute. The new campus is expected to be ready soon. Even though it's not fully set up yet, the facilities are decent. Once the shift happens, it's expected to be even better with all the new infrastructure.
