Passed, 10+2 examination of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Geology / Statics. The candidate should have passed individual subjects and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to the SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together and must have qualified in JEE or OJEE.5% seats are available over and above the total intake under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme, whose parents' annual income is less than Rs.4.50 Lacs.Lateral Entry: Passed, or appearing in 2015, in diploma examination in Engineering from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.The outside candidates passing qualifying examinations from outside state-approved institutions are also allowed. Moreover, these students need to appear for the OJEE (Lateral entry) exam for getting admission.Student Passed or appearing in 2015 for the Bachelor degree Examination of three-year duration in science from any University of Odisha or recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belongs to ST/SC category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
