Admission to First YearAdmission to the first year shall be open for the candidates who:Have passed the Second year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board with Science Subjects.10 + 2 of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) / ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)Any other equivalent examination recognized by the University.EligibilityThe candidate should have secured an aggregate of 45% with Physics and Mathematics as a Parth of the subjects, along with one of the following subjects:-ChemistryBiotechnologyComputer ScienceBiology and ElectronicsEligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are 40% in optional subjects. The candidate must have had appeared and cleared English as one of the subjects.Admission to Second Year (Lateral Entry)Diploma or equivalent degree holders can apply for admission in the second year provided that they must have secured 50% in their final year examination. For SC/ST and OBC, the criteria are 45%, in case the candidate has secured less than the eligibility, must clear the bridge courses as specified by Bangalore University.
