Candidates who clear the SPJAT are invited to participate in a group discussion (GD). The group discussion assesses a candidate's communication skills, ability to articulate ideas, and teamwork capabilities. A topic is given to a group of candidates, who then discuss it for a specified period. Evaluators observe the candidates' participation, their ability to present arguments logically, and their interpersonal skills. Candidates should actively participate in the discussion, contribute relevant points, and listen attentively to others. It is important to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor throughout the group discussion. The GD round helps the selection committee evaluate a candidate's overall personality and suitability for the program.
