The answer key and response sheet are available on the official portal. Use your candidate login to access and save the files immediately. The objection window is open and will close on May 23, 2026 .

Any challenge must be submitted through the objection tracking facility on the same website. Each challenge requires payment of an objection fee of Rs 1,000 .

MHT CET answer key 2026: how to raise an objection

To object, log in to the objection tracking facility at cetcell.mahacet.org. Select the question you wish to challenge, upload supporting documents, pay Rs 1,000 per objection and submit. Valid login credentials are mandatory to use the facility.

The State CET Cell has said the final answer key will be used to prepare results. Once the final key is issued and results are declared, candidates who meet the qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in counselling.

Seats will be allotted based on the MHT CET rank secured by candidates and the preferences they fill during counselling. The final answer key is therefore a crucial step before seat allotment and admission.

If you plan to raise challenges, download your response sheet now, collect documentary evidence for each question you dispute, and complete the payment before the May 23 deadline. Remember that the fee is charged per challenge, so plan your objections accordingly.

For candidates who do not raise objections, the provisional key stands until the State CET Cell publishes the final version. Results and counselling schedules will follow the final key and will determine who qualifies for admission into participating institutes across Maharashtra.

Keep your login details ready and check cetcell.mahacet.org regularly for any updates from the State CET Cell. Acting before the deadline is essential if you want your challenge to be considered.
