AP Inter Improvement Exams 2026: Fees and how to apply
The base examination fee is Rs 600 per year . If you want to appear for both 1st and 2nd year papers, the fee is Rs 1200 . To upgrade marks on a passed theory paper you must pay Rs 160 per passed paper .

Exam schedule and timing
The improvement exams will run from May 21 to June 4, 2026 . First-year theory papers are scheduled 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM . Second-year theory papers are scheduled 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM .
Second-year candidates who opt to reappear for all papers (theory and practicals) will have their previous marks cancelled and replaced by the improvement exam marks. There is no option to improve marks for practical exams.
Who can apply and rules to note
You can apply if you are dissatisfied with the AP Inter 2026 result, if you have failed subjects, or if you have passed but want to upgrade theory paper marks. There is no limit on the number of attempts for failed subjects. Hall tickets are expected in the second week of May 2026 .
