    COMEDK UGET 2026: exam held May 9; provisional key on May 13

    COMEDK UGET 2026 was conducted on May 9, 2026 as a computer-based test in two shifts at 400 exam centres nationwide. A total of 1,10,787 candidates appeared out of 1,30,620 registrations, giving an overall attendance of about 85% .

    The exam was organised by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). Karnataka recorded 88% attendance and Bengaluru nearly 90% attendance. The test had 180 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and will determine merit for 20,000 engineering seats across 150 COMEDK member colleges.

    COMEDK UGET 2026 — Provisional answer key release and objection window

    The provisional COMEDK answer key will be released on May 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM on the official portal. Candidates must log in with their application number and password to download the key for their specific shift.

    If you find discrepancies, the objection window opens on May 13 and closes on May 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM . Each objection carries a fee of Rs. 500 per question , with a maximum payable amount of Rs. 2,500 for multiple challenges. Objections must include supporting evidence and be submitted via the online payment gateway during the specified window.

    COMEDK UGET 2026 — Final key, scorecards and next steps

    COMEDK will publish the final answer key on May 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM after reviewing submitted challenges. The final key will be used to prepare merit lists and calculate candidate scores.

    Score cards and rank cards will be released on May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM on the official website. You must download and print your score/rank card — hard copies are not sent by post.

    For counselling, keep ready your score card, rank card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, category certificates (if applicable) and identity proof. Candidates are required to report to the allotted college within the deadline specified during counselling.
