KCET 2026 answer key released by KEA
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the provisional KCET 2026 answer key on April 25, 2026 . The keys cover Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics papers held on April 23-24, 2026 and are published subject-wise and paper-code-wise.
KCET 2026 answer key: what KEA has published
KEA has uploaded multiple answer-key PDFs to match the different question paper sets used during the exam. Candidates should pick the correct paper code/version before downloading to ensure they compare answers to the right set. About 3.3 lakh candidates appeared for the KCET this year.
The provisional key is intended to let candidates estimate scores and identify questions they may want to challenge. KEA will review objections before issuing the final key and tabulating results.
How to use the KCET 2026 answer key
Visit the KEA candidate portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and log in with your CET number and date of birth. Select your subject (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) and the correct paper code, then download the PDF for question-wise answers.
Compare your responses to the key and calculate an estimated score using the KCET marking pattern you followed during the test. Keep a copy of the answer-key PDF and note the question numbers you may want to challenge.
Objections: process, deadline and fee
KEA is accepting online objections against the provisional KCET 2026 answer key. The portal requires a clear explanation and supporting evidence for each challenge; candidates should attach relevant documents while submitting. There is no fee to submit objections.
The objection window closes on April 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM . Make sure you submit before the deadline and retain any acknowledgement or receipt provided by the portal.
What happens next
KEA will examine all valid challenges and prepare a final answer key. The KCET result is expected in May 2026 once the objection review and score processing are complete.
For the objection process and downloads, use the official KEA portal and follow the candidate login steps. Keep your CET number and date of birth handy when accessing the site.
