    Programs, admission modes and eligibility

You can apply for M.Tech, M.S., M.Sc., and PhD through multiple modes: GATE, CUET-PG, JAM, academic merit (CGPA ≥ 8.0) and institute tests or interviews. For M.Tech/M.S. GATE mode you need a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline. CUET-PG 2026 scores are accepted where listed. JAM 2026 qualification applies for M.Sc. institute admission.

Direct M.Tech admission is available for B.E./B.Tech graduates with CGPA ≥ 8.0/10 . Other applicants must appear in the institute written test and interview. PhD applicants who meet the institute’s eligibility may be called for a direct interview; the direct-interview cutoff was May 8, 2026 for some applicants.

    How selection and timelines work

Selection depends on merit lists, interviews, written tests and seat availability. Merit lists are prepared separately for each mode (GATE, CUET, JAM, CGPA and institute mode). PhD candidates will face an entrance exam on July 20–21, 2026 , with results out on July 27, 2026 .

Some operational details — application fees, seat matrix, test syllabi, reservation cutoffs and stipend/fee details — are not listed in this notice. Check the institute’s official announcements for those specifics.

Last year LNMIIT recorded a highest CTC of ₹1.24 Cr and a placement rate of 93.76% with 460 offers , showing strong placement outcomes for campus graduates.
