Apply online by May 31, 2026 and ensure the printed, self-attested hard copy of your application and documents reaches the respective department head on or before June 6, 2026 . Entrance test dates for specific programmes will be communicated to applicants via email and SMS.
Selection will be by entrance test where required and by merit for other programmes. Final-year undergraduate students may apply provisionally, subject to passing their final semester before admission is confirmed.

Visit the official portal periyaruniversity.ac.in, register, fill the online form, upload a passport-sized photo, and pay the application fee through the online gateway. Application categories and fees are: Rs. 354 for UG/PG/B.Voc, Rs. 590 for MCA and M.Ed, Rs. 885 for MBA, and Rs. 118 for certificate/diploma programmes (all inclusive of GST).
Most PG programmes require a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Programmes like M.Sc. Computer Science require a relevant undergraduate qualification. Candidates with degrees from other universities must obtain an eligibility certificate from Periyar University. SC/ST and differently-abled candidates from Tamil Nadu are eligible for a one-programme application fee waiver.
