    Registration for CCMT 2026 counselling begins on May 15, 2026 , under the CCMT 2026 Counselling Procedure for M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan admissions. Candidates with valid GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026 scores can apply through the official portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

    CCMT 2026 Counselling Procedure: who can apply and participating institutes

    Eligible candidates are those holding valid GATE scores from 2024, 2025 or 2026 and seeking admission to participating institutes including NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and other GFTIs. The counselling is for M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan programmes and follows the rules set by the counselling authority.

    There will be at least three regular counselling rounds , followed by Special Rounds and a National Spot Round (NSR) if seats remain vacant. Exact schedules for each round and institute-wise seat matrices will be published on the official CCMT portal.

    CCMT 2026 Counselling Procedure: registration steps and fees

    The online process requires you to register, pay the registration fee, fill and lock choices, and upload documents for verification.     Registration fees are Rs.3,500 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and Rs.3,000 for SC/ST/PwD. Payment modes accepted are Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI and Netbanking. The registration fee is non-refundable.

    You must upload a passport-size photograph and a scanned signature during registration and download the registration confirmation once all steps are complete. The entire document verification process will be conducted online by the participating institutes.

    Documents you must keep ready

    Required documents include the GATE scorecard (2024/2025/2026), Class 10 certificate (proof of date of birth), qualifying degree marksheet and degree certificate or provisional degree certificate. If applicable, keep category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), PwD certificate, government photo ID, completion of course certificate, and Annexure V-A/V-B undertaking declarations ready.
