    Visit jeeadv.ac.in and open the candidate login. Use your registration number , date of birth and mobile number to sign in and download the admit card.

    The admit card download link remains active until May 17, 2026 at 2:30 PM . Keep a printed copy ready for the exam centre.

    What the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card shows

    The admit card carries your name, registration number, photograph and signature. It also lists the allotted exam centre, reporting time and the timings for both papers.

    Check all details carefully and report any discrepancy to the exam authority immediately as instructed on the official portal.

    Exam schedule and format

    The JEE Advanced 2026 exam is set for Sunday, May 17, 2026 and will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. There are two compulsory papers: Paper 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM . Each paper is three hours long and covers Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

    Candidates must appear in both papers. The admit card includes exam-day instructions and mandatory reporting times; follow them to ensure entry to the test centre.

    Who was eligible and what happens next

    Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main 2026 were eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026. Those who qualify in JEE Advanced will be eligible for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government-funded technical institutes.

    A score of 70 in JEE Advanced 2026 is expected to yield a Common Rank List (CRL) estimate of roughly 18,000–25,000 , though branch and institute chances will vary.

    Exam-day essentials

    Bring a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID as specified in the admit card. Electronic devices and other prohibited items are not allowed inside the centre; follow the instructions printed on your hall ticket.
