JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 result expected by end April or early May

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 result (B.Arch and B.Planning) by end of April or early May 2026 . This follows the answer key release on April 25, 2026 and the objection window which closes on April 27, 2026 .

Paper 2 was held across April 2-7, 2026 . Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) results were already declared on April 20, 2026 . Once the objection window closes, NTA's expert panel will finalise the answer key and prepare scorecards for publishing at the official portal.

When the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 result will be released

NTA has not posted a firm date, but the result timeline points to end April or early May 2026 . Historically, results are issued about 12–13 days after exams conclude; the current schedule and the April 27 objection deadline make an end-April release likely.

The result will appear at jeemain.nta.nic.in and will cover both Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). Candidates should monitor the official website after the objection window closes.

How to download JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 result and scorecard

Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and open the result/scorecard section. You will need your application number and password to log in. The portal will display a downloadable PDF scorecard; save it for counselling and admission processes.

    The scorecard will show:

    • Raw score out of 300 marks
    • Percentile score (NTA's normalization method) showing relative performance
    • Category-wise rank and other rank details

Report any discrepancies in the scorecard to NTA immediately using the contact options on the official site.

Immediate impact and next steps for candidates

Best scores from both JEE Main sessions (Session 1 and Session 2) will be considered for JoSAA counselling. JoSAA registration for 2026 is scheduled to begin on June 2, 2026 . Candidates aiming for architecture and planning seats should keep their login details ready and track official updates closely.

Students should also note the answer key objection window has already closed on April 27, 2026 , after it was released on April 25, 2026 . Once results are live, download your scorecard, check raw marks, percentile and category rank, and prepare documents needed for counselling.

No further official date has been announced; rely on the NTA portal for the declared result and scorecard downloads.
