The engineering exam will be held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from May 9 to May 11, 2026 . The test duration is 3 hours with 160 objective questions: Physics 40 , Chemistry 40 , and Mathematics 80 . Total marks are 160 and there is no negative marking .
Bring the printed hall ticket along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence, or PAN) and one passport-size photograph for verification. Candidates should report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators and smartwatches are prohibited inside the test hall.
Registration fees remain unchanged: ₹900 for general candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/PH categories. The admit card is mandatory; without it and a valid photo ID you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
This admit-card release follows the standard schedule published by the exam authority and is intended to reduce last-minute download congestion. If you see discrepancies on your hall ticket—such as wrong name, DOB or centre—contact the exam authority immediately through the official portal; the admit card itself lists instructions and rules you must follow on exam day.
Keep a secured digital copy as backup, but remember only the printed colour admit card and a valid photo ID are accepted at the centre. Review the instructions on the hall ticket carefully and reach your assigned centre on time for the May 9–11 sessions.
