    TN SSLC Result 2026: TNDGE declares Class 10 results

    The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has released the TN SSLC Result 2026 for Class 10 students. The board announced the results at a press conference held at 9:58 AM , and results are now available on dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in .

    TN SSLC Result 2026: key figures and immediate impact

    About 9 lakh students appeared for the SSLC exams held in March–April 2026; the detailed count shows 870,643 candidates took the exam. A total of 821,105 students qualified, giving an overall pass percentage of 94.31% .

    This year’s pass rate is reported as 51% higher than last year . A remarkable 5,171 schools recorded 100% pass , including 1,931 government schools with full passes.

    Differently-abled students achieved a pass percentage of 85.58% , with 11,416 students clearing the exam. Among prison inmates, 370 appeared and 354 passed, a 95.68% pass rate.

    How to check TN SSLC Result 2026 and download marksheet

    You can view your result on dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in . Enter your registration number and date of birth to access the provisional marksheet.

    Digital marksheets will be available via DigiLocker for quick download. The board also introduced a WhatsApp result service: send the message Hi to 7845252525 to receive your result on WhatsApp.

    Original marksheets will be issued later through your school. Check your personal details and subject marks carefully on the provisional marksheet and keep a copy for admissions or application purposes.

    What students should note next

    If you plan further study, save the provisional marksheet and set up a DigiLocker account to store the digital certificate safely. For board or school-level queries, approach your school authorities once originals are distributed.

    The press conference released the headline figures; district-wise breakups, topper lists and re-evaluation procedures have not been published at the same moment. Watch the official board websites for any follow-up notices and instructions.
