Exam conduct, evaluation and security measures
The board used AI surveillance, CCTV and flying squads across more than 8,000 centres to monitor exams. Around 2.75 crore answer sheets were assessed at 254 evaluation centres.
Assessment took place over 15 working days from March 18 to April 4, 2026 , the board said. Principals and senior lecturers acted as auditors to ensure accuracy.
Passing rules, re-evaluation and compartments
You must score a minimum of 33% in each subject and 33% aggregate to pass. If you fail in one or two subjects, you are eligible for compartment exams.
The board will open registration for scrutiny (re-evaluation) in May 2026 . Online marksheets are provisional — collect originals from your school when issued.
