NEET 2026: NTA rejects paper leak claims
The National Testing Agency has said the NEET 2026 question paper leak claims circulating on social media are false. The NTA posted an advisory on April 29, 2026 , urging candidates and parents to trust only information from neet.nta.nic.in and the NTA's official social accounts.
NEET 2026: NTA advisory and security measures
The agency says all confidential exam material was delivered securely using GPS-tracked transport and is stored under locks with 24/7 CCTV monitoring . NTA officials say they monitored the full chain from printing to distribution to prevent any leaks.
The exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026 , with over 22.8 lakh registered candidates and more than 5,400 exam centres arranged across the country. Entry to examination centres will begin at 11:00 AM .
NEET 2026 exam day rules and scam warning
Mandatory Aadhaar-based identity verification and biometric checks will be in force at all centres. Candidates who cannot complete biometric authentication will be permitted to sit the exam after a manual verification and submitting a written undertaking, the NTA said.
Students should ignore messages or groups claiming access to question papers for a fee. The NTA warned that scam operators are demanding approximately ₹10,000 per student for alleged papers. Do not pay or respond to these offers.
If you receive suspicious messages or see channels offering paid papers, report them to the NTA or to cybercrime authorities immediately. The NTA again stressed that official updates will appear only on neet.nta.nic.in and its verified social media accounts.
The advisory notes multiple layers of centre-level security and continuous agency monitoring to ensure exam integrity. Candidates are advised to focus on preparation, follow the prescribed exam dress code, and reach their allotted centre in time for the entry window.
NTA's clear message: the rumours are scams designed to distract and exploit students. Follow official channels for admit card details and any last-minute instructions.
