MHT CET 2026 answer key: PCB provisional keys, response sheets out; Rs 1,000 objection fee explained

    MHT CET 2026 answer key: PCB provisional keys and response sheets released

    Maharashtra State CET Cell has released the provisional MHT CET 2026 answer key and candidate response sheets for PCB on the official portal, cetcell.mahacet.org.

    The PCB first-attempt exam was held April 21–26, 2026 , with more than 2.84 lakh+ candidates across 189 centres in 36 Maharashtra districts. A second attempt for PCB took place on May 10–11, 2026 . Each session ran for three hours: 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00 .

    How to access the MHT CET 2026 answer key

    Candidates can view the provisional MHT CET 2026 answer key and their response sheets on cetcell.mahacet.org. To download or view your response sheet, you will need your application number and password .

    The PCB paper carries 200 marks in total. Passing criteria are set at 40% (80/200) for reserved category candidates and 45% (90/200) for general category candidates.

    How to challenge the MHT CET 2026 answer key

    Registered candidates who wish to raise objections must log in through the candidate portal. For the objection process you will be asked to enter your roll number, date of birth and captcha , select the question ID to challenge, upload supporting documents, and pay the processing fee of Rs 1,000 per question.

    Only challenges submitted via the official portal will be considered. Upload clear supporting documents when prompted and complete the online payment to finalise each objection.

    The CET Cell used 189 exam centres across 36 districts for the PCB first attempt, underscoring the scale of the exercise for PCB students this year. The provisional answer key lets you estimate likely scores now; official results and final keys will follow after objections are processed by the authority.
