NBEMS has issued an updated tentative calendar for postgraduate medical examinations — the NBEMS 2026 exam calendar revises DrNB final exam dates and lists a provisional NEET-SS 2026 window.
The board says the revised timetable alters the DrNB final examinations schedule that was earlier mentioned in the notice dated April 10, 2026 . NBEMS has also added a tentative NEET-SS slot for 2026.
NBEMS 2026 exam calendar: What changed
The main change is to the Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) final exams. NBEMS states the DrNB final examination dates for trainees of the concerned batches have been revised from the April 10, 2026 notice. Exact revised dates will be published in the respective information bulletin.
The board has separately listed a provisional window for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test — Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2026. NBEMS described this as a tentative schedule; the precise exam dates and session details will appear in the NEET-SS information bulletin.
NBEMS 2026 exam calendar: Which dates remain unchanged
NBEMS clarified that the tentative dates earlier notified for several exams remain unchanged. This includes Diplomate of National Board (DNB) finals, NBEMS diploma exams, NEET-PG 2026 and the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2026.
Candidates preparing for these tests should note that while their current timelines stand, the overall calendar is still labelled tentative and may be updated through separate bulletins.
What this means for you (candidates)
No application start or fee details are included in the calendar notice. NBEMS says exact examination dates, registration windows, eligibility criteria and other operational details will be formally confirmed through individual information bulletins uploaded on the official NBEMS website.
You should regularly check the NBEMS portal for the relevant information bulletins, application forms and admit card announcements. Treat the present calendar as provisional and avoid assuming final dates for travel, leave or coaching schedules.
NBEMS covers multiple postgraduate medical exams in this cycle: DrNB, DNB, diploma exams, NEET-SS, NEET-PG and FMGE. The board underlined that the calendar remains tentative and that candidates will be informed via the official information bulletins when schedules are finalised.
