Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for the RRB NTPC UG 2026 CBT-1 exam. Candidates can download hall tickets from rrbapply.gov.in and their respective regional RRB websites using registration number and date of birth/password.

The RRB had earlier issued the city intimation slip on April 27, 2026 to help candidates plan travel. The CBT-1 exam is scheduled on May 7, 8, 9, 13, 14 and in a June window from June 16–21, 2026 , and will be held across roughly 200 cities in multiple phases.

RRB NTPC admit card 2026: how to download

On the homepage of rrbapply.gov.in click the link for “NTPC UG City Intimation Slip / Admit Card 2026”, enter your registration number and password or date of birth, and download the admit card that appears on screen. Take a clear printout and check all details including exam city, date, and candidate information.

If your Aadhaar authentication is pending, the portal allows Aadhaar verification ahead of the exam to speed up entry at the centre. Candidates are advised to complete this at rrbapply.gov.in before the exam day.

CBT-1 will have 100 objective-type questions to be answered in 90 minutes . The paper covers General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. There is negative marking: one-third of the marks for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The test will run in multiple phases across several dates to manage large candidate numbers. Exact shift timings and reporting instructions will be printed on the admit card and the earlier city intimation slip.

Entry rules, ID and Aadhaar biometric authentication

Aadhaar linked biometric authentication will be done at the exam centre before entry into the exam hall. Candidates must carry the printed admit card and a valid ID proof. The RRB specifically requires the original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar; without these, entry may be denied.

Candidates who clear CBT-1 will move to CBT-2, followed by skill tests where applicable, document verification and medical examination as part of the selection process.

For any discrepancies or detailed instructions, consult the official regional RRB website listed on rrbapply.gov.in.
