CUSB 4-year integrated BEd 2026
Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) will start four-year BA B.Ed and BSc B.Ed programmes from the 2026-27 session, university officials have confirmed. The courses are approved under the National Council for Teacher Education's Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).
CUSB 4-year integrated BEd 2026: Admission route and exams
Admissions to these integrated B.Ed programmes will be through the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CUET (UG) will not be used for these seats; you must appear for NCET and meet its eligibility criteria.
Selection will be based on NCET merit. The NTA is expected to apply a normalization process that converts raw scores into percentiles to prepare a fair merit list across shifts.
CUSB 4-year integrated BEd 2026: Seats, start date and structure
The NCTE has granted permission for the programmes, aligning CUSB with NEP 2020 goals that make the 4-year integrated B.Ed the minimum qualification for school teachers by 2030 .
- Sanctioned seats: 50 seats for BA B.Ed and 50 seats for BSc B.Ed (total 100 seats).
- Session start: Expected July/August 2026 .
- Program length: 4 years , integrating subject content with pedagogy and practicum under ITEP.
Departments delivering the curriculum will include Teacher Education working alongside liberal arts and science departments to provide a multidisciplinary programme.
