The Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) is a scheme by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, launched way back on April 24th, 2018. It's all about making the Panchayati Raj System stronger, especially in rural areas across India. The revamped RGSA scheme, which is approved from FY 2022-23 to 2025-26, focuses on boosting the skills of rural local governance institutions, creating plans with everyone's input, and using resources for solutions that help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
