Vel Tech University, being a Deemed-to-be-university, is generally considered more lenient compared to other private universities. The infrastructure is quite good.

Regarding rules, carrying your ID card and wearing formals is essential. You won't be allowed on campus without proper formals, which include shoes, shirt, and pants—jeans and T-shirts are not permitted.

Classrooms have improved significantly, now featuring air conditioning. While not as expansive as some other institutions, the classroom infrastructure is still quite commendable compared to its previous state.
