IIT BHU has a pretty strong alumni network, which really helps with placements. You don't have to stress too much about it. Lots of companies visit the campus to recruit students. In 2019, over 33 companies made 188 job offers on the first day alone. The final placement report for 2019 showed that 52 companies hired 762 students. The average salary ranged from INR 10 LPA to INR 58.21 LPA. The highest domestic package was INR 1.04 Crore, and the highest international package was INR 1.53 Crore. Some of the major companies that recruit from IIT BHU include EXL, Wipro, Tata Steels, Oracle, Morgan Stanley, and Maruti.
