Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) has a strong reputation and a long history. Because of its quality education and industry-relevant curriculum, many companies visit the campus for recruitment.

Thapar generally has good placement rates, offering students solid career opportunities.
If you're dedicated and work hard, you can land a great package. This year, the highest placement for CSE was around 45 LPA.
Note that the highest packages often go to students in the 2+2 program (first 2 years at Thapar, last 2 at Trinity College).
With Thapar taking in 500 CSE students each year, you'll need to be in the top 20 to secure a top package.
