How good is IIIT Ranchi for students?

Well, a friend from the 2018 CS batch shared his experience. He got into IIIT Ranchi with a JEE Main rank of 28 (AIR) because he didn't have options like IITs or top NITs.

Initially, he was surprised by how quickly the institute developed, thanks to NIT Jamshedpur's guidance. A great thing about IIIT Ranchi is that you get to participate in NIT Jamshedpur's placement process. However, there was a split for IIIT, and my friend mentioned things might slow down a bit in the next couple of years.

Currently, the institute has around 120-180 students, which is pretty good for a new institute.
