So, IIT Jammu is pretty decent when you consider academics, placements, and all the fun stuff outside of classes. The professors know their stuff and have plenty of experience. Since it's one of the newer IITs, it's not too crowded, which means you can easily get involved in any club or society you like. They've got everything from a Coding Club to a Robotics Club, plus Dance and Arts Clubs.

And placements? They're not bad at all. In 2022, the average salary package was around INR 21.5 LPA, but the highest offer went up to INR 45 LPA.
