From what I've heard, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) has its pros and cons. A friend of mine graduated in B.Tech (CS) from there, so here’s a quick rundown:

Campus:

The campus is pretty big, around 448 acres.
You'll find well-equipped labs, decent furniture, and a big library with lots of books, journals, and research papers.
There are 13 clean hostels with high-speed LAN. Plus, they have sports facilities, medical services, a temple, a Gurudwara, ATMs, banks, a shopping complex, and student activity centers.
There’s a huge stadium for sports like cricket and football, a swimming pool, a nice lake, two ponds, a clean canteen, and a restaurant with different food options.

Placements:

If you spend your four years here, it’s a decent investment. Placements weren't great before, but last year, about 41 companies came to the campus, and 195 students got placed in good companies. Because of COVID, placements are still ongoing.

Top Recruiters in 2020 included Cognizant, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Nestle India, Capgemini, Softstar, Nature Bio Food, TCS, Ralson, Godrej, and more.

Overall, SLIET focuses on academics while also trying to make things fun.
