Well, my brother studied Electrical Engineering there, so I can share some insights.

Academically, SLIET is pretty solid, with experienced faculty. They're usually helpful, even if it's not just about studies. Some teachers might have less effective teaching styles, though.

Don't stress too much about your CGPA. You can crack competitive exams like GATE or IES, and even get placed well. Focus more on building skills and knowledge, but try to keep your CGPA above 8.

If you're joining a core branch, start prepping for GATE, IES, UPSC, or other competitive exams early. Don't just focus on coding. You'll have enough time for everything, and it'll help you a lot later on.
