IIT Jammu, though relatively new, provides excellent opportunities for Electrical Engineering (EE) students. The curriculum is designed by IIT Delhi, ensuring a robust structure.

Faculty: The EE faculty members are generally young and possess strong research backgrounds, with many holding PhDs and PostDocs from reputable institutions. They are approachable, and if you're keen on research, they might involve you in their projects. Plus, you can always get help from Ph.D. students.

Labs: The institute has well-equipped labs for core EE courses like Control and Power systems, Analog, and Electrical Machines.

Placements: In 2020, the average CTC offered was 8 LPA. The highest placement in the EE branch so far is 31 LPA, secured by an Amazon recruit.

Projects: You can engage in various projects at IIT Jammu. Lab work includes projects that constitute about 20-30% of the course. The Robotics and Electronics club offers hands-on experience, and students can easily create their own projects.
