So, one of my friends shared his first-day experience at Madras Institute of Technology (MIT). He was in a part-time B.Tech program, so his classes were from 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM.

He found the seniors really helpful and friendly. The first day included a ceremony at the Guindy Campus in the evening.

He remembers one staff member making everyone a bit nervous by talking about how tough the math was and how many students struggle to pass, even after multiple tries.

He did manage to clear his backlogs eventually but was worried about graduating late. Overall, it was a mixed bag of excitement and anxiety!
